Consortium MoU

The underwater technology solutions company, MCS Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alam Maritim Resources Berhad and SAFEEN Survey and Subsea Services, a joint venture between the Abu-Dhabi based National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) and Abu Dhabi Ports Group.

The agreement will see the companies bring together decades of experience, with MCS Group’s proprietary technology, to solve challenges and deliver subsea construction and inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

Chief Executive of MCS Group, Wael Bakr, said: “This agreement builds on long-standing relationships and reconfirms our commitment to this market where we have been providing pipelay, ROV, intervention and inspection activities successfully for years.

“We are committed to tackling global energy challenges with our own designed and patented technology and this agreement will see us enhance projects with our smart and proven solutions.
